Momentum Youth Program

Momentum is a client-led, goal-oriented youth program for individuals aged 14-17, designed to help participants build the essential skills necessary to transition into their adult years. Through structured goal-setting, hands-on learning, and peer collaboration, participants develop the life and social skills they need to navigate adulthood with confidence. Momentum provides a flexible and engaging environment where youth have the freedom to choose their daily activities while still working toward measurable progress and personal growth. With a 3:1 client-to-Instructor ratio, each session ensures participants receive personalized guidance and support while strengthening their decision-making, problem-solving, and independent living skills in a way that is meaningful to them. Momentum is about empowerment, choice, and preparing for adulthood—on your terms. Build skills. Set goals. Make progress. Transition with confidence.

What to Expect in Momentum…

  • Client-Led, Instructor-Guided – Momentum gives participants control over their experience. While instructors provide support and guidance, participants have the freedom to choose activities that align with their interests and personal goals.
  • Time Commitment – Momentum runs on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:00-8:00 PM and Sundays from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM, providing participants with a dedicated space to focus on developing the skills they need for a successful transition into adulthood.
  • Structured Independence – While the program offers flexibility, each session follows a structured approach—starting with planning their activities, engaging in skill-building experiences, and reflecting on their progress.
  • Skill-Focused – Each participant selects a specific skill or goal to work on during the session. Activities are designed to support these objectives, ensuring meaningful, hands-on learning that promotes personal growth and independence.
